In the EWS category, around 300 homes were sold in Narela, with all 139 units available in Loknayakpuram being booked. The housing developments, which went live on September 10, had an overwhelming reaction, particularly the High-Income Group (HIG) units in Jasola, which sold out on the first day.

The most recent sales happened in Dwarka, when one penthouse, three super HIG, 18 HIG, and many Middle-Income Group (MIG) units were sold through e-auction. A record 2,000 potential buyers made earnest money deposits (EMDs) on 169 units, resulting in sales considerably over the reserve price following numerous rounds of bidding.

The housing plans were launched under the supervision of Delhi Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena, who has personally monitored their implementation. DDA claims its success to its commitment to provide inexpensive yet high-quality housing, which is bolstered by strategic planning and development efforts. Efforts to improve the living environment, such as developing green spaces around apartment buildings, are currently underway.

DDA is also working with local authorities to keep these neighborhoods clean, so improving the quality of life for new residents. In addition, final touches are being made to the apartment blocks to provide buyers with better value.

The Dwarka Housing Scheme, which was conducted through an e-auction, has ended, while the Sasta Ghar and Madhyam Vargiya Housing Schemes, which operate on a first-come, first-served basis, remain open.
