Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated films of the year, with Ajay Devgn returning as DCP Bajirao Singham for the third time in the popular franchise. The action-packed film is set for a grand Diwali release. According to the latest buzz, fans can expect the trailer to drop on October 3, 2024, as per a report from Bollywood Hungama. A source close to the project confirmed that the date has been set for the much-awaited trailer reveal.
“Director Rohit Shetty is aware of the mammoth expectations of the fans from the much-loved cop universe. He took his time to cut an exciting trailer that gives an idea about the film’s plot and also contributes enough screen time to the gigantic star cast of the film,” the source was quoted by the portal as saying.
The source revealed that the Singham Again team is confident the excitement will “skyrocket” after the trailer drops. While specific details about the launch event are still under wraps, the source hinted that more clarity on the trailer release plans will come in the next few days.
Rohit Shetty has established a cop universe in Bollywood with three of his big movies – Singham, Simmba, and Sooryavanshi which starred Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar respectively. The three superstars will now unite in Singham Again. The film will also star Arjun Kapoor in a key role. Deepika Padukone and Kareena Kapoor Khan will also star in this movie. The film will also introduce Tiger Shroff into the cop universe.
The film will clash at the box office with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. Both films are slated for release as major Diwali blockbusters this year.
The upcoming film Singham Again will also feature key roles by Ashutosh Rana, Shweta Tiwari, Dayanand Shetty, and Siddhartha Jadhav. It’s produced by Ajay Devgn FFilms, Reliance Entertainment, and Rohit Shetty Picturez. The Singham franchise started in 2011, with Kajal Aggarwal as the lead. In the 2014 sequel, Singham Returns, Kareena Kapoor Khan replaced her. Now, the third part of the series, Singham Again, is set for a Diwali release this year.
