The India Meteorological Department has notified that there may be an increase in rainfall activity along with isolated rains over the northeast, east, central, and Western Himalayan regions for the next two days. Heavy Rainfall Prediction for Western India
According to the Met Department weather bulletin, extremely heavy downpours are expected in the Gujarat region, Goa, Konkan, and Madhya Maharashtra on 27 September. Kutch and Saurashtra are likely to receive heavy rains on 27 Sept and isolated heavy downpours on 28 Sept.
Isolated heavy rainfall in Central India
Isolated heavy showers are likely to happen in West Madhya Pradesh from 27 Sept to 28 Sept.
Weather Update for Northwest Region
The Weather Department has projected that there might be very severe rainfall in Uttarakhand and East Uttar Pradesh on 27 Sept and 28 Sept. Himachal Pradesh is likely to have the same weather conditions on 27 September. West Uttar Pradesh is projected to have isolated heavy showers on 27 Sept.
Weather Today in the Southern Region
Isolated heavy rainfall is predicted for Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, and Karaikal on 28 Sept and 29 Sept. Mahe and Kerala are likely to witness similar weather patterns from 28 Sept to 30 Sept. South Interior Karnataka may have it on 29 Sept and Coastal Karnataka might receive it by 30 Sept.

Extremely heavy rainfall prediction for Eastern and Northeast India
Severe showers are expected to cover Sikkim and Sub-Himalayan West Bengal on 27 Sept and heavy rains on 28 Sept and 2 Oct. Meghalaya, Assam, and Arunachal Pradesh to experience similar weather patterns from 27 Sept to 28 Sept. Bihar is likely to receive heavy downpours on 27 Sept and 28 Sept while Tripura, Manipur, Nagaland and Mizoram are likely to receive it today.
