PM Kisan 18th Installment: The next installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) Yojana is set to be released soon, and farmers across India are eagerly awaiting the payment. Under this scheme, the government provides ₹6,000 annually in three installments of ₹2,000 each, delivered at four-month intervals.

PM-Kisan Yojana was launched in February 2019, and is designed to offer financial assistance to farmer families across India. The scheme operates under the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system wherein funds are directly deposited into the beneficiaries’ bank accounts.

The 18th installment of ₹2,000 is expected to be credited to the beneficiaries’ accounts in October.

How to Check PM Kisan Installment Status

To check the status of your PM Kisan payment:

1. Visit the official PM Kisan website at pmkisan.gov.in.
2. Click on “Know Your Status.”
3. Enter your registration number and the captcha code. If you don’t know your registration number, you can use your mobile or Aadhaar number.
4. You will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number. After entering the OTP, you can view the status of your installment.

eKYC is Mandatory for PM Kisan Beneficiaries

Farmers must complete their eKYC to continue receiving benefits under the PM Kisan Yojana. There are three ways to complete eKYC:

1. OTP-based eKYC – Available on the PM-KISAN portal and mobile app.
2. Biometric-based eKYC – This can be completed at Common Service Centers (CSC) or State Service Centers (SSK).
3. Face-authentication eKYC – Available for verification as well.
