Noida Police issues 6-day traffic advisory for UP International Trade show: Here’re routes to avoid

The Noida Traffic Police have issued a traffic advisory regarding routes around Greater Noida ahead of the UP International Trade Show. Traffic restrictions will be effective from September 24 to 29 to ensure smooth traffic flow during the event, as reported by Jagran.

Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar will inaugurate the trade show, held at India Expo Mart from September 25 to 29. Commuters in Noida need to be aware of the restrictions and avoid routes with closures.

From 7:00 AM to 11:00 PM, goods vehicles will be restricted from using the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway and nearby routes. Only essential goods vehicles, including those carrying milk, fruits, vegetables, and medical supplies, will be allowed.

Alternative routes have been set up for commuters:

– Vehicles from the Chilla border will be redirected at Chilla Red Light and can use NH-9, NH-24, NH-91, and the Eastern Peripheral Expressway.

– Vehicles from the DND border will be diverted at DND Toll Plaza and can use NH-91 and the Eastern Peripheral Expressway.

– Vehicles from the Kalindi border will be directed to the Eastern Peripheral Expressway and NH-91.

– Vehicles from Jewar Toll on the Yamuna Expressway heading to Delhi will be diverted to Aligarh before the toll.

– Vehicles from Honda CL Chowk heading to Delhi via the Noida-Greater Noida Expressway will be redirected to the Eastern Peripheral Expressway via Sirsa Roundabout.

– Vehicles from Surajpur Ghanta Chowk and Pari Chowk will be diverted to their destination via Tilpata and Sirsa Roundabouts toward the Eastern Peripheral Expressway.

“Commuters must take alternative routes to avoid inconvenience during the trade show,” said DCP Traffic Yamuna Prasad.
