Mumbai Traffic Advisory: Mumbai Police have announced traffic restrictions in the Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) for the upcoming foundation stone ceremony of the new Bombay High Court building, scheduled for September 23. The ceremony will take place at the Government Colony Ground in Kherwadi, Bandra (East) and will be attended by judges from the Supreme Court, the Bombay High Court and other guests.
To facilitate the smooth execution of the event and minimise public inconvenience, the police have implemented a temporary traffic management order. This order will be in effect from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM on September 23.

Mumbai Traffic Advisory: BKC Roads Closed
As part of these restrictions, both directions of traffic on New English School road, which connects Ramkrishna Paramhansa Marg and J. L. Shirsekar Marg will be closed to all vehicles, except those associated with the event.

Mumbai Traffic Advisory: Alternative Route
For motorists needing to navigate the area, an alternate route has been established. Traffic will be redirected via Mahatma Gandhi Vidya Mandir road to ensure better flow and reduce congestion.
The police have urged all drivers to plan their journeys accordingly and abide by the traffic restrictions to ensure a hassle-free experience during the ceremony.

Additionally in separate news, the Mumbai Police issued an advisory on Friday, prohibiting motorists from stopping on the Mumbai Coastal Road to take photos or videos. The southbound traffic on the Coastal Road will now be operational daily from 7 am to 12 am. Routes from Bindu Madhav Thackeray Chowk, Rajani Patel Chowk and Amarsons Udyan to Marine Drive, as well as the northern route to the Bandra-Worli Sea Link, will remain open.
