SBI Amrit Kalash FD: Hurry up! Last few days to book special fixed deposit plan – Check rates, tenors

SBI Amrit Kalash: The deadline to subscribe the State Bank of India’s special fixed deposit (FD) scheme of 400 days tenure will come to an end on September 30, 2024. The specific tenor FD plan, which was launched on April 12, 2023, has seen multiple deadline extensions keeping in view the high interest from customers.

SBI, India’s largest bank in terms of number of customers, offers about 30 basis points (bps) extra to both general customers and senior citizens on its Amrit Kalash FD plan as compared to its regular FD offering of 1 year to 2 years tenure.

SBI Amrit Kalash FD rates

SBI is offering 7.1% interest rate to regular customers and 7.6% rate to senior citizens who have subscribed Amrit Kalash fixed deposit scheme.

As regards the bank’s FD plan with similar tenor, which is of 1-2 years, SBI offers 6.8% to normal customers and 7.3% to senior citizens.

The bank also runs multiple other special fixed deposit plans – 444 days Amrit Vrishti, SBI Green Rupee Term Deposit, and Sarvottam (Non-Callable) Domestic Retail Term Deposits.

444 days Amrit Vrishti: Under this scheme, SBI offers non-senior customers 7.25% interest rate and senior citizens 7.75% interest rate. This special FD plan will remain available for customers until March 31, 2025.

SBI Green Rupee Term Deposit: This scheme is available for three specific tenors of 1111, 1777 & 2222 days, at 10 bps below card rate for retail deposits.

Sarvottam (Non-Callable) Domestic Retail Term Deposits: This scheme is for FD amount above Rs 1 crore to less than Rs 3 crore. On this special FD, the bank offers 30 bps over card rate for tenor 1 year and 40 bps over card rate for tenor 2 years. (Pre-Mature Payment not allowed).
