Sana Khan who was a popular TV and Bollywood actor, left the glamour world and acting in October 2020, leaving everyone speechless. In her long emotional Instagram post, she mentioned serving her life to humanity and following the orders of her creator. It wasn’t she just quit the industry, Sana also deleted all her social media posts that had a connection with the entertainment world. Recently, the former actress was invited to Rubina Dilaik’s podcast ‘Kisi Ne Bataya Nahi’, where she shared the reasons behind her decision to take a bold step.

Sana Khan said there were a lot of things that triggered her as she was born into a Muslim family. She confessed whatever she was doing was not correct as per her religion.
It all started after coming out of Bigg Boss. Sana said she started reading the translation of quran. “After I came out of Bigg Boss, I thought, I need to get a Quran which is translated. Us waqt meri life mein bahot saari aisi chizein bhi ho rahi thi which are now not worth talking, but apart from that, meri life mein bahat major change tha.”

Sana revealed she wasn’t happy within and how aayat from quran which spoke about Allah was giving her relaxation. The actress who was seen in ‘Wajah Tum Ho‘, shared her journey from full sleeves to backless. “Pehle main full sleeves pehenti thi, then three-fourth hua and then half sleeves hua. I would be like, baap re mere hath dikh rahe hai. And then I reached sleeveless. Phir neeche se kum hote gaye. And then in my journey from sleeveless to backless, mujhe pata hi nahi chala ki shaitaan ne mujhe as a woman nanga kab kar diya aur main is nangepan ko modernism aur liberal hona, is chiz ko power kab se samajne lag gayi?”
Sana Khan is married to Surat-based businessman Anas Saiyad. Their nikah ceremony took place in November 2020. In 2023, they welcomed a boy named Saiyad Tariq Jamil.
She is a businesswoman, founders of Face Spa by Sana Khan and Haya By Sana Khan. In addition, she and her husband, Anas founded the Hayat Welfare Foundation, a charitable organization dedicated to helping those in need.
