Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar and Vedang Raina are the first guests of The Great Indian Kapil Show season 2.
Alia Bhatt will kick off the first episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show season 2 and the promo revealed she is set to meet one of Ranbir Kapoor’s exes. Before you jump the gun and think that it is one of the people he dated before marrying Alia, it is not. In fact, it is one of his exes that he met on the sets of Kapil’s shows in the past. Yes, we are talking about Sunil Grover’s Gutthi.

In the promo, Kapil informed Alia that one of Ranbir’s exes was in the studio and wanted to invite her on the show. “I want to tell you something today. There was a girl in Ranbir’s life,” Kapil said. Alia replied, “Oh, is it?” Kapil asked her permission to call the ex. Alia asked, “You are going to call her on this show, here?”
Kapil then called Gutthi in and Alia was left in splits. Watch the video below:

Apart from bringing Ranbir’s ‘ex’ on board, Kapil also hosted Karan Johar and Vedang Raina. The team was present on the show to promote their upcoming film, Jigra. In the promo, Kapil asked Karan about his bond with Alia. “Karan sir, what do you see in Alia? A friend? A daughter? An aunt?” he asked, leaving everyone in splits.

Karan replied, “She is my first daughter.” He also revealed that he is on WhatsApp groups with just the mothers of Bollywood.
Talking about the upcoming season, Kapil Sharma said, “As promised, we didn’t take too long and palak jhapakte hi hum doosre season ke saath laut aaye hai on Netflix (we are back with Season 2 in the blink of an eye). We are all very thankful for the love that we received for Season 1 of The Great Indian Kapil Show from across the globe. Our audiences have always treated us as a part of their family and we are grateful.”
