With companies announcing the schedule to release their earnings for the second quarter ended September 30, 2024 as the earnings season is about to begin, Infosys Ltd has also announced the schedule for declaring its earnings for the July-September period of FY25. India’s second-largest information technology (IT) company said that it is also considering a dividend for its shareholders this time.

Infosys Q2 results 2025 date and time
In an exchange filing on Friday, September 13, Infosys informed the bourses that its board of directors will meet on Thursday, October 17 to consider and approve the financial results of the company for the second quarter of FY25.
“This is to inform you that a meeting of the Board of Directors of the Company will be held on Wednesday and Thursday, October 16 and 17, 2024 inter alia to: 1. Approve and take on record the audited consolidated financial results of the Company and its subsidiaries as per Indian Accounting Standards (INDAS) for the quarter and half year ending September 30, 2024; 2. Approve and take on record the audited standalone financial results of the Company as per INDAS for the quarter and half year ending September 30, 2024; 3. Approve and take on record the audited financial statements of the Company and its subsidiaries as per INDAS and IFRS for the quarter and half year ending September 30, 2024 and…”the IT giant said in the exchange filing on Friday.
Infosys Q1 results 2025 were declared post-market hours in June. Therefore, it is expected that the second quarter results will be announced after 3.30 pm only.

Infosys Dividend FY2024-25
Along with the Q2 results 2025, Infosys said that its board of directors in the meeting scheduled on Thursday, October 17 might also consider dividend for its shareholders. “The financial results and proposal for interim dividend, if any, will be presented to the Board of Directors on October 17, 2024 for their approval,” the exchange filing informed.
If the company approves the dividend in the board meeting, it will be the first cash reward by Infosys to its shareholders in FY25.
Infosys Dividend History
Infosys has been paying rich dividend to its shareholders. According to BSE data, Infosys had in 2023 paid dividend twice — Rs 18 in October and Rs 17.50 in June. In 2022, the Bengaluru-headquartered company had distributed dividend two times – Rs 16.50 in October and Rs 16 in June.
Back in 2021 and 2020, Infosys had rewarded its investors by paying a dividend of Rs 30 and Rs 21.50, respectively, on each stock.
In 2024 so far, the IT firm has paid a Special Dividend of Rs 8 and final dividend of Rs 20, both announced in May.

On Friday, shares of Infosys, closed at Rs 1944.30, 0.31 per cent lower from the previous close of Rs 1950.35, on the BSE. The stock opened at Rs 1950.35 and hit a high of Rs 1958.70 and a low of Rs 1935.45, respectively.

Shares of Infosys have given a decent returns to its investors with the stock climbing 2.21 per cent in the past one week, 8.21 per cent in one month and 20.64 per cent in six months, respectively, as per BSE analytics.
So far in 2024, the shares of the IT company have gained 25.34 per cent. It gave 29.88 per cent return in one year and 14.98 per cent in three years, respectively.
