Kolkata Metro: On the day of the festival, the Blue Line will operate 131 trains in the up direction and 131 in the down direction.
In celebration of Vishwakarma Puja, the Kolkata Metro will reduce its services on the Blue Line to 262 trains on September 17, 2024 (Tuesday), a decrease from the usual 288 daily services.

Adjusted Schedule for the Day
On the day of the festival, the Blue Line will operate 131 trains in the up direction and 131 in the down direction. The first train will depart at 06:50 hrs from Dumdum to Kavi Subhash, with the same start time for the train running from Kavi Subhash to Dakshineswar. The early morning service from Mahanayak Uttam Kumar to Dakshineswar will not be available, while the 06:55 hrs service from Dumdum to Dakshineswar will proceed as scheduled. The first train from Dakshineswar to Kavi Subhash will start at 07:00 hrs, maintaining its usual schedule.

Evening and Night Services
In the evening, the last service will depart from Dakshineswar to Kavi Subhash at 21:28 hrs, with the return journey from Kavi Subhash to Dakshineswar starting at 21:30 hrs. The final trains from Dumdum to Kavi Subhash and from Kavi Subhash to Dumdum will leave at 21:40 hrs.
Special night Metro services on the Blue Line will continue as usual, with trains available from Kavi Subhash and Dumdum stations at 22:40 hrs.

Unchanged Services on Other Lines
Metro services on the Green Line-1, Green Line-2, Purple Line, and Orange Line will remain unchanged during the festival.
Commuters are advised to plan their journeys accordingly and check for any updates on Metro services during the Vishwakarma Puja celebrations.
