Officials said that the YEIDA will launch a new residential plot scheme during the Navratri festival, offering around 2,000 smaller-sized plots aimed at mid-income group buyers, Moneycontrol reported.
The Authority has begun registering the scheme with the Uttar Pradesh Real Estate Regulatory Authority (UPRERA).
YEIDA CEO Arun Vir Singh stated that while the previous residential plot schemes received a strong response, many interested buyers were unable to participate, leading to the decision to introduce another scheme.
“We have planned to launch around 4,000 residential plots through our schemes. These will be smaller plots with sizes likely to range between 120 square metres (sq m) and 162 sq m,” Singh said.
