Two more regular trains have extended their services to handle the crowd which is expected to increase because of the examination, as confirmed by the official.
The Northeast Frontier Railway has launched 12 special trains for managing the rush for the candidates who will appear for the Assam Direct Recruitment Examination (ADRE) Group III and IV examinations on September 15, 2024. Moreover, two more regular trains have extended their services to handle the crowd which is expected to increase because of the examination, as confirmed by the official.

Here is the list of the special trains announced
1. Train No. 05157, Alipurduar-Guwahati will leave for Alipurduar at 17:00 on September 14 and will reach Guwahati at 04:55 the next day. The return no. 05158 Guwahati-Alipurduar will leave from Guwahati at 20:00 on September 15 and reach Alipurduar at 07:30 the following morning.
2. Train No.05179 Karimganj-Silchar will depart Karimganj at 20:00 on September 14 and will arrive in Silchar at 22:30 on the same day. On the other hand, the return train no.05180 Silchar-Karimganj will start from Silchar at 00.05 on September 15 and will reach Karimganj by 02.40.
3. Train No.05175 Haibargaon-Guwahati will leave from Haibargaon at 23:30 on September 14 and will reach Guwahati at 04:00 on the next day. Train No. 05176 Guwahati-Haibargaon will come back to Guwahati at 19:05 on September 15 and reach Haibargaon at 23:15 on the same day.
4. Train No. 05183 Dibrugarh-Ledo will begin from Dibrugarh at 18:00 for two days on September 14 as well on September 15 and will reach Ledo at 22:00. The returning train No. 05184 will depart from Ledo at 04:00 on September 15 and 16, and will arrive at Dibrugarh by 8:00.

5. Train No.05161 Mariani-Narangi will commence from Mariani at 16:00 on September 14 and will reach Narangi by 04:55 the next day. Train No.05162 on its return journey will leave from Narangi at 20:25 on September 15 and will reach Mariani at 09:00 the following day.
6. Train No.05197 Jamira-Silchar will begin from Jamira at 18:00 on September 14 and will reach its destination Silchar by 21:15. Train No.05198 on its return trip will leave Silchar at 22:00 on the same day and will reach Jamira at 1:10 the following day.
7. Alipurduar-Bongaigaon Train No. 05159 will start at 18:00 on September 14 and reach Bongaigaon by 01.00 on September 15. The returning train no. 05160 will depart from Bongaigaon at 18:00 on September 15 and arrive at Alipurduar at 01:45 on September 16.
8. Jamira-Silchar Train No.05103 will depart at 03:00 on September 15 and will arrive at Silchar by 06:15. On its return tour, train No. 05104 will leave Silchar at 18:00 and will arrive at Jamira by 21:10 on the same day.
9. Train No.05181 Karimganj-Silchar will commence at 04.00 on September 15 and will reach Silchar at 06:40. The return train No. 05182 will depart at 04:00 on September 15 and will arrive at Karimganj by 23:40 the following day.
10. Train No.05187 Murkongselek-Kamakhya will start from Murkongselek at 14:30 on September 14 and will arrive at its destination Kamakhya at 05:00 on September 15. The round-trip train no. 05188 will leave from Kamakhya at 19:45 on September 15 and will reach Murkongselek by 10:30 the following day.
11. Train No.05177 Jamira-Silchar will begin at 10:00 on September 14 and will arrive at Silchar by 13:10. On its return journey, train no. 05178 will leave at 14:00 and reach Jamira at 17:10 on September 14.
12. Train No. 05185 Jamira-Silchar will leave from Jamira by 21:00 for two days on September 14 and 15 and will arrive in Silchar by 00:10. The returning train from Silchar will start from 01:00 on September 15 and September 16 and will reach Jamira at 04:00

The Northeast Frontier Railways also announced the extension of following trains
1. Train No.05802 Guwahati-Kokrajhar will leave from New Bongaigaon by 22:30 for two days-September 14 and 15 and will reach Kokrajhar by 23:45. The return trip train no.05801 Kokrajhar -Guwahati will begin from Kokrajhar at 2:00 on September 15 and 16 and will reach its last stoppage New Bongaigaon by 03:00.
2. Train No.15703 New Jalpaiguri-Kamakhya will commence from Bongaigaon at 17:10 on September 14 and September 15 and will arrive by 22:00 on the same day. On its return trip, train no. 157034 Kamakhya-New Jalpaiguri will leave Kamakhya at 00:05 on September 15 and 16 and will reach its destination Bongaigaon at 04:30.
3. Train No.15703/15704 New Jalpaiguri-Bongaigaon will expand its operation to Kamakhya. On the other hand, train no. 05801/05802 New Bongaigaon-Guwahati will further extend its services till Kokrajhar from September 14 to 16.
