New Delhi: ICICI Bank has introduced changes to its debit card benefits, focusing on complimentary airport lounge access. Starting October 1, 2024, cardholders will need to meet certain spending criteria to enjoy these perks. Here are what are the changes coming from October 1 and what will be changed.

What’s New?
To get two complimentary domestic airport lounge visits each quarter, ICICI Bank debit cardholders must spend at least Rs 10,000 in the previous calendar quarter. For example, if you want free lounge access in the October-December 2024 quarter, you need to spend Rs 10,000 in Q3, between July to September 2024.
Which Transactions Count?
Only e-commerce and point-of-sale (POS) transactions will be considered for the Rs 10,000 spending limit. Cash withdrawals and ATM transactions will not be counted.
Who Will Benefit?
As discussed above, the changes will not affect every customer. The updated lounge access rules apply to the following ICICI Bank debit cards:

What If Customers Have Other Debit Cards?
For other ICICI Bank debit cards, the lounge access criteria remain unchanged. The new changes are only applicable to the above-mentioned debit card holders.
