The Met Department has also predicted heavy rainfall across multiple states.
The India Meteorological Department in its latest weather bulletin has informed that heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely to occur in Uttarakhand and East Rajasthan for the next three days. The intensity of the rain is expected to decrease further. The IMD has also issued an orange alert for very heavy rainfall in these two states. Meanwhile, for New Delhi, the IMD has warned that it will generally have cloudy weather accompanied by moderate rain on Friday. The maximum and minimum weather will likely be around 33 and 24 degrees Celsius.

Heavy rainfall weather forecast for Central and Western India
The Met Department has also predicted that there may be intense rainfall in Chhattisgarh over the next seven days, whereas, Goa and Konkan will get it from Sept 6 to Sept 10, Kutch and Saurashtra will have it on Sept 6, Madhya Pradesh might experience it from Sept 6 to Sept 8 and Gujarat will get it from Sept 6 to Sept 8.

Weather predictions for Southern India
Heavy downpours are expected in Telangana, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, and Yanam from Sept 6 to Sept 8, while Mahe and Kerala are likely to experience it from Sept 8 to Sept 11. The IMD has notified that there may be isolated heavy showers in Coastal Karnataka from Sept 6 to Sept 9.
IMD forecast for Northeast and Eastern India
The weather department has informed that Meghalaya and Assam are likely to experience intense downpours on Sept 7. Likewise, Mizoram, Nagaland, Tripura, and Manipur will experience it on Sept 11. Isolated heavy showers are likely to continue for the next seven days in Manipur, Assam, Meghalaya, Mizoram, and Tripura. Odisha is forecast to deal with the same weather from Sept 6 to Sept 9. Bihar is likely to get it today (Sept 6), and Jharkhand is expected to receive it from Sept 6 to Sept 9. Additionally, isolated heavy rains are likely to occur in Arunachal Pradesh from Sept 6, 10 and 11.

Isolated heavy showers expected in Northwest India
Uttarakhand and East Rajasthan are projected to receive heavy downpours from Sept 6 to Sept 7. Meanwhile, East Uttar Pradesh might witness it on Sept 6 and West Rajasthan may receive it from Sept 6 to Sept 7.
