Bajaj Chetak Blue 3202 launched at Rs 1.15 lakh in India, replaces Urbane variant

Bajaj Chetak Urbane replaced: Bajaj’s electric division, Chetak Electric has launched the updated version of its electric scooter, Blue 3202 at Rs 1.15 lakh (ex-showroom) in India and this replaces the Urbane variant. As per media sources, Bajaj has started using new battery cells for its electric scooters in India. This has resulted in more range and led to a drop in the price of the scooters. The Blue 3202 is priced at Rs 8,000 lower than the Urbane variant.

Bajaj Chetak Blue 3202 vs Bajaj Chetak Urbane

The design of the Chetak Blue 3202 is identical to the Urbane variant. It is available in four colour options to the customers. The Blue 3202 is updated with a better range. The outgoing model had a range of 126 km, but with the new battery cells, the range increased to 137 km. Bajaj has also dropped the price of the Bajaj Chetak Blue 3202 by Rs 8,000. By comparison, the Urbane variant was introduced at Rs 1.23 lakh (ex-showroom). The feature list offered on the Blue 3202 is carried forward from the Urbane variant.

Bajaj Chetak Blue 3202 specifications and features

Bajaj Chetak Blue 3202 and the Bajaj Cheta Urbane offered a circular instrument cluster having an LCD unit.

The regular variant of the Chetak Blue 3202 offers basic features such as only Eco single riding mode, the app connectivity features are limited, a green scorecard on the app, Geolocation, and a key fob location within a 30m radius.

Interested buyers who are looking for more features can also opt for the TecPac kit. With the TecPac variant on offer for the Chetak Blue 3202, the speed gets extended to 73 km/h. It also unlocks a long list of features such as hill hold and reverse, all of which are accessible through the Chetak smartphone app. In addition to the Eco riding mode, the app unlocks the Sport mode for better performance.

Though the Bajaj Chetak Blue 3202 comes with an increased range, it is offered with the same 3.2 kWh battery pack. With the 650-watt off-board charger, the electric scooter can be charged completely in 5 hours and 50 minutes. The electric motor produces 4 kW power and 16 Nm torque, which is similar to the Urbane variant.
