The case revolves around accusations of corruption linked to the Delhi Excise Policy, with the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) alleging irregularities and financial misconduct in the implementation of the policy. Kejriwal’s legal defense has consistently denied the charges, arguing that the case is politically motivated. The defense team is expected to challenge the validity of the supplementary charge sheet during the upcoming hearings.
