The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced a list of 44 candidates for the upcoming Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections. According to the dates announced by the Election Commission of India (ECI), the elections to the legislative assembly of Jammu and Kashmir will be held in three phases on September 18, 25 and October 1. The counting of votes will take place on October 4.
The party has fielded Kuldeep Raj Dubey to contest from Reasi, Rohit Dubey to contest from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi, and Chowdhary Abdul Ghani to contest from Poonch Haveli, Pawan Gupta to contest from Udhampur West, Dr. Devinder Kumar Maniyal to contest from Ramgarh (SC), and Mohan Lal Bhagat to contest from Akhnoor, among others.
