Yamuna Expressway authority extends date of draw for residential plots near Noida airport to October 10

The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has extended the date of draw for the allotment of its residential plots to October 10, sources said.

Earlier, the lucky draw for the residential plots was planned for September 20. The authority has also extended to August 23 the last date for submitting applications for the residential plots scheme.

he authority has put on sale 361 residential plots in sectors 16, 18, 20 and 22D. These plots are adjacent to the Yamuna Expressway, which connects Greater Noida with Agra and Mathura. The land parcels are also close to the Eastern Peripheral Expressway (EPE), the proposed Film City, and the upcoming Noida International Airport.

“We are receiving good response from the prospective buyers for the residential plot scheme. Many of the buyers have requested the authority to allow more time to apply, hence we have extended the last date to apply till August 31. Now the lucky draw of the plots will be conducted on October 10 instead of September 20, 2024,” a YEIDA official told Moneycontrol.

The scheme offers mid-size residential plots measuring 120 square metres (sq m) and 200 sq m along with larger residential plots measuring between 500 sq m and 4,000 sq m. The scheme is offering highest 131 residential plots in 300 sq m category.

These plots will be allotted at Rs 25,900 a square metre. The smallest 120 sq m plot will cost around Rs 31.08 lakh, while the 162 sq m plot will cost around Rs 41.95 lakh. The mid-size plots of 200 sq m, 300 sq m, and 500 sq m will cost around Rs 51.8 lakh, Rs 77.7 lakh and Rs 1.29 crore, respectively.

Large plots measure 1,000 and 4,000 sq m and will cost around Rs 2.59 crore and Rs 10.36 crore.

The authority aims to collect a revenue of Rs 343.04 crore from the allotment of these residential plots.
