SSC Issues Guidelines On Photo, Signature Upload to Avoid Application Rejection, Check Details

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) issued new guidelines to assist candidates with the proper procedure for uploading photographs and signatures when applying for various positions. These guidelines aim to minimise application rejections due to common mistakes.

Candidates can review the guidelines for uploading photos and signatures when applying for various vacancies at ssc.gov.in. The SSC notice provides examples of correct and incorrect signatures to assist applicants. Candidates should review these examples to see which signatures the Commission will accept and which may be rejected.

Several reasons have been highlighted by the SSC for why photographs may be rejected. This includes:

–– Photo without plain background

–– Candidates wearing caps

–– Candidates taking photos without shirts

–– Photo with insufficient light

–– Blurred photo.

Candidates should follow these instructions for taking the photo, particularly ensuring a plain background and good lighting.

According to the SSC notice, the main reason for signature rejections is ‘miniature’ signatures. Candidates are advised to cut out the box provided in the notice and sign within it so that the signature covers at least 80 per cent of the box.

Meanwhile, the commission has started the online application correction facility for the Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) recruitment exam on August 16. Candidates who submitted the SSC MTS application form can make edits through the official website at ssc.gov.in. The deadline for making corrections to the SSC MTS application form today, August 17.

If any candidate wants to make any corrections or changes to the already submitted application form, he/she should use the “Window for Application Form Correction option.” Candidates who request changes or modifications after the correction window has closed, including those sent by post, fax, email, or in person, will not be accepted and will be rejected by the Commission.

The SSC MTS exam will take place from September 30 to November 14 in multiple shifts across the country. To log in and make changes to the SSC MTS application form, candidates are required to use their login credentials, including the application number and password.
