“Bringing BSA to India is about sharing a piece of world motorcycling history with India. That indomitable spirit of BSA, a brand built in the fires of battle, is imbued in the new Gold Star,” said Anand Mahindra, Chairman of the Mahindra Group, at the launch event.

The BSA brand is also planning to expand into the US, Australian, and Japanese markets soon, according to the company.

Earlier this month, Classic Legends Private Limited (CLPL) entered into a joint venture with Tube Investments of India Ltd (TIIL) to utilize BSA trademarks in India. Tube Investments, a part of the Murugappa Group, manufactures bicycles, components, automotive parts, and more.

The CLPL-TIIL joint venture will primarily focus on using BSA trademarks in India for motorcycles and related parts and accessories produced and sold by Classic Legends.
