WhatsApp is enhancing its sticker experience with a range of new features aimed at making messaging more expressive and enjoyable. The latest update introduces seamless integration with GIPHY, allowing users to access and share an extensive collection of stickers directly within the app. By tapping the sticker icon and searching using text or emojis, users can now easily find and share stickers that perfectly match their conversations.

The chat app has partnered with GIPHY to integrate their vast collection of stickers directly into the app. This new feature allows users to search for and share a wide variety of engaging stickers without leaving the chat app. Users can find perfect sticker to match their conversation by tapping the sticker icon and using text or emoji to search.

The Custom Sticker Maker, a feature already available to iOS users, is now available on Android. This feature lets user easily create, edit, and share their own stickers. Users can change their photos into personalised stickers or modify existing ones with tools for cropping, adding text, and drawing. Once created, these stickers are automatically saved in the sticker tray, making them readily accessible for sharing with friends and family.

WhatsApp now offers AI-generated stickers. Using Meta AI, users can create custom stickers tailored to their specific needs. However, this feature is currently available for both iPhone and Android users in the US only. It also supports AI sticker creation in Spanish and Bahasa Indonesia for Android users.

WhatsApp is also making finding new sticker packs easier. The chat app now allows users to preview sticker packs directly in the sticker tray, making it simpler to discover and explore new designs.
