An update has been posted on the official X account formally (Twitter) by Delhi Traffic Police stating, ‘’Traffic alert is expected to be disrupted on Windsor Palace roundabout near Ashoka Road from C-Hexagon because of sewerage pipeline damage. Kind plan your journey accordingly.’’
The Delhi Traffic Police has issued an advisory that one side of Ashoka Road will be shut down to traffic till September 10 because repair work is underway on the sewer barrel. The restoration work is being conducted by the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC). One carriageway from the Jaswant Singh roundabout to the Windsor Place roundabout will be closed from today.

Traffic diversions and alternate routes advised by the Delhi Traffic Police
According to a Delhi Police statement, during this closure, traffic on Asokha Road will run in one direction. The traffic flow will be from Windsor Palace and will head towards Jaswant Singh roundabout. Commuters are advised to opt for Kasturba Gandhi Marg whoever is planning to travel from C-Hexagon India Gate towards Windsor Palace. They can also pass through the Firoz Shah traffic signal to reach Windsor Place.

Another traffic advisory is announced for the carriageway from Rajapuri Road No-201 which heads towards Palam Flyover. The route is affected as a bus near Madhu Vihar crossing has a breakdown. Commuters are advised to figure out their plan accordingly.
