NFO Alert: HDFC Mutual Fund Launches New HDFC Nifty500 Multicap 50:25:25 Index Fund

HDFC NFO: HDFC Asset Management Co. Ltd. has launched the HDFC Nifty500 Multicap 50:25:25 Index Fund, which will help the investors to generate long-term wealth creation.The NFO was opened on August 6th and will close on August 20th, 2024. The fund provides diversification across large, mid, and small-cap stocks and also has a quarterly reset mechanism.

HDFC Nifty500 Multicap 50:25:25 Index Fund: Key Details

Launch Details:

The New Fund Offering (NFO) opened on August 6th and will close on August 20th, 2024.

Fund Objective:

The purpose of the fund is to track the Nifty500 Multicap 50:25:25 Total Returns Index, which provides investors long-term wealth creation opportunities.

Diversification:

The fund includes all 500 stocks from the NIFTY 500 index, with 50% in large caps, 25% in mid caps, and 25% in small caps.

Quarterly Reset Feature:

The allocation to large, mid, and small caps will usually be reset quarterly to maintain the 50:25:25 ratio.

Historical Performance:

The Nifty500 Multicap 50:25:25 TRI has outperformed the NIFTY 500 TRI over 1, 3, 5, and 10-year periods as of June 28, 2024.

Fund Manager

The fund will be managed by Mr. Nirman Morakhia and Mr. Arun Agarwal.

Investors can start with a minimum investment of Rs. 100 during the NFO and continuous offer periods.

No Maximum Limit:

There is no maximum limit on the investment amount.

Tax Efficiency:

The quarterly reset mechanism helps maintain allocation efficiently and is tax-effective over the long term.
