Vande Bharat Express Train: The Indian Railways has taken a significant step to enhance passenger convenience and boost tourism by introducing a new tri-weekly Vande Bharat Superfast train service between Udaipur City and Agra Cantt. This new service aims to connect key tourist destinations efficiently, making travel between Agra, home of the iconic Taj Mahal, and Udaipur, known for its picturesque lakes, much quicker and more convenient. Previously, the journey between these two cities could take up to 14-17 hours, but with the introduction of the high-speed Vande Bharat Express, the travel time is expected to be significantly reduced.

The new train service is set to benefit tourists by allowing them to explore multiple attractions in the region in a single trip. Travellers can now easily visit the Ranthambore Tiger Reserve, the majestic Taj Mahal, and the serene lakes of Udaipur, thanks to the improved connectivity provided by the Vande Bharat Express. The train will operate from Udaipur to Agra Fort, with strategic stops at select stations, including Sawai Madhopur in Rajasthan, a gateway to the renowned Ranthambore National Park. This initiative is poised to transform travel experiences and promote tourism in the region.
The train will leave from Udaipur at 5:45 am, making stops at Rana Pratap Nagar Station, Mavli Junction, Berach, Chanderiya, Kota, and finally Sawai Madhopur at 11:03 am. And then, the train will connect Gangapur City, Bayana, before making its final stop in Agra Fort at 2:30 pm.
