The viral footage, shared on X (formerly Twitter), captures a heated argument between two women over an upper berth seat in a train compartment. One woman, who was resting on the berth with her son, allegedly occupied the seat without a valid ticket. Meanwhile, the woman standing below claimed that the seat was reserved in her name and was being blocked by the ticketless passenger. Both women argued that the seat was a confirmed booking, not an RAC (Reservation Against Cancellation).
The woman occupying the berth insisted that she wouldn’t vacate the seat asking the other woman to “adjust.” She even confidently suggested, “I am not coming down, you call the TT. I will speak to them.” The passenger with the confirmed ticket replied that it was not her responsibility to call the TT as she had a confirmed ticket. However, the woman on the berth retorted with, “Adjust karni padegi yar (You have to adjust).” During the confrontation, the woman with the confirmed seat called her father, explaining the situation and describing the other woman as rude. The woman on the berth defended herself, saying, “I’m just asking you to adjust. I’m not being rude.”

Since being posted online, the video has captured significant attention, sparking a flurry of reactions from social media users.
In the comment section, one user wrote, “RAC is the biggest scam in railways. Our system’s fault for allowing such things to happen. The green lady must thrown out of the train.”
Another added, “I am sorry but this has always been a female problem. You pay money for it but they will capture your seat like it’s their own or come to you and force you to exchange your seat with them. Have faced this issue multiple times and there is no relief to this idiotic behaviour.”

Meanwhile, a viewer sarcastically wrote, “Yellow suit waali ki galti hai, confirm ticket kyo leke gayee . waiting ticket chahiye hota hai seat ke liye (It’s the fault of the woman in the yellow suit. Why did she get a confirmed ticket? You need a waiting ticket for a seat).”
