Sawan Vinayak Chaturthi 2024: Date, Time And Yogs Forming On This Day

Vinayak Chaturthi of Sawan is on Chaturthi Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Shravan month. On this day, the devotees keep Vinayak Chaturthi fast to worship Lord Ganesha, the destroyer of obstacles. Just as the Chaturdashi (14th day) of every month is dedicated to Lord Shiva, the Chaturthi of each month is worshipped for Lord Ganesha. Vinayak Chaturthi is worshipped during the day. Shiva Yoga and Ravi Yoga are being formed on the day of the fast along with Uttaraphalguni Nakshatra. Looking at the fast, the moon is prohibited during the fast of Vinayak Chaturthi. It is the second Chaturthi of Sawan. The first Chaturthi was in Krishna Paksha. The devotees believe that keeping a fast on Vinayak Chaturthi and worshipping Lord Ganesha removes all the problems in life. According to the Vedic calendar, the Chaturthi date of Shukla Paksha of Shravan month will start on August 7 at 10:05 pm. It will conclude at 12:36 am on the next day. You can keep Vinayak Chaturthi Sawan fast on August 8. In the upcoming Chaturthi, the devotees can worship Lord Ganesha from 11:07 AM to 1:46 PM.

Shiva Yog and Ravi Yog will form on the day of Sawan Vinayak Chaturthi. On the day of the Chaturthi fast, Shiv Yog is from morning till 12:39 PM followed by Siddha Yog. Ravi Yog is also being formed on the day of the fast. It will start from 5:47 am and will last till 11:34 pm. Shiv Yog is considered good for the yoga practice.

On August 8, the moon is expected to rise at 8:59 am on Sawan Vinayak Chaturthi. The moon will set at 9:21 pm. Looking at the moon on Vinayak Chaturthi brings false accusations, due to which Chandra Darshan is prohibited on this day. The devotees keep this fast for a prosperous and happy life. It is believed that new business started in this muhurat will yield good results.
