Rashami Desai is renowned for her work in television shows, and movies, among other things. Her most well-known performance was in the popular TV series Uttaran, in which Tina Dutta played the lead character of Tapasya Thakur. The star recently talked about her painful time of homelessness. She also revealed that she had financial hardships following her divorce from Nandish Sandhu, including having to sleep in her car due to a Rs 3.5 crore debt, during a podcast with Paras Chhabra on his YouTube channel.

Rashami Desai Recalls Her Financial Struggles Post-Divorce
Rashmi stated in the same interview that she spent four days travelling and had meals totalling Rs. 20. According to her, the food was meant for the rickshaw drivers and was formerly served in packets containing two rotis, chawal, and daal. She also found kankar (stones) in the food. She said that at the time, her manager’s house held all of her belongings.
“I had bought a house during that time. I had a loan of almost Rs 2.5 crore, and apart from that…I remember there was a total debt of Rs 3.25-3.5 crore on me. I thought everything was fine but then suddenly, my show was shut down. I was on the road for four days. I had an Audi A6 and I would sleep in that car. All my stuff was at my manager’s house. I was completely cut off from my family, ” Rashami said.

When Rashami Desai Got Support From Industry
“I got divorced, even my friends started to think I was very difficult because I wasn’t expressive and I would go into my shell. My family thought all my decisions are wrong. I somehow paid off my loan but I was still too stressed all the time. I would not sleep. I would just work continuously. At that time, I started thinking, I would rather die, ” Rashami added.
The renowned TV actor stated that yoga was a big part of her recovery process and that she received support from a number of her coworkers and team members at that time. Rashami Desi also talked about her own goals for her life and said she is hoping to find someone who can at least relate to her. She went on to say that she wants to be with someone who can understand her needs and be there for her.

Was Rashami Desai Highest Paid in Bigg Boss 13?
Later, Rashami received the serial Dil Se Dil Tak, but she was still quite confused about what to do and how to pay off the loan. But even if the trip was lovely and she made money, she had no investment ideas and no idea how to make use of the items she had. She later decided to compete in Bigg Boss 13.
When Paras questioned Rashmi about whether or not she was among the highest-paid Bigg Boss 13 contestants. The actress responded by making a joke about it, which subsequently made both participants chuckle.
