Bengaluru: 14 Trains Cancelled Due To Landslides; Check Affected Routes Here

As many as 14 trains have been cancelled by Southern Western Railways due to landslides after heavy rains in the region. These landslides occurred between Yedakumeri and Kadagaravalli stations in Mysuru division on Sunday.

Bengaluru: South Western Railways has announced the cancellation of fourteen trains due to landslides between Yedakumeri and Kadagaravalli stations in the Mysuru division on Sunday. The affected routes include KSR Bengaluru to Kannur and Karwar, Vijayapura to Mangaluru Central, Bengaluru to Murudeshwara, SMVT at Byappanahalli, and Yeshwantpur to Karwar and Mangaluru Junction.

Notably, these train cancellations, which began on Sunday, will continue until August 4. South Western Railways stated that restoration efforts are currently in progress.

Meanwhile, The Indian Railways has also cancelled 14 trains and rerouted 9 trains till August 6 due to the massive maintenance work and track upgrade work. The department stated that track doubling work will start in the Izzatnagar zone’s Shahjahanpur-Lucknow and Roza-Sitapur routes. Yard remodelling work is also pending and will be carried out at Roza junction.

1. Train number 15909/10 Avadh-Assam Express will be cancelled from July 29 to August 4.
2. Train number 22551/52 Antyodaya Express will be cancelled from July 27 to August 4.
3. Train number 15904/03 Chandigarh-Dibrugarh Express will be cancelled from July 29 to August 4.
4. Train number 22453/54 Rajyarani Express will be cancelled from July 31 to August 6.
5. Train number 14235/36 Bareilly-Banaras Express will be cancelled from July 31 to August 5.
6. Train number 15011/12 Lucknow-Chandigarh-Lucknow Express will be cancelled from July 31 to August 5.
7. Train number 15073/74 Triveni Express will be cancelled from July 31 to August 6.
8. Train number 15075/76 Triveni Express will be cancelled from July 31 to August 5.
9. Train number 15653/54 Amarnath Express will be cancelled on July 31 and August 2.
10. Train number 15127/28 Kashi Vishwanath Express will be cancelled from July 31 to August 5.
11. Train number 14307/08 Bareilly-Prayagraj Express will be cancelled from August 1 to 5.
12. Train number 13257/58 Jansadharan Express will be cancelled from August 1 to 5.
13. Train number 12203/04 Garib Rath Express will be cancelled from August 3 to 6.
14. Train number 12587/88 Amarnath Express will be cancelled on August 3 and 4.

4. Train number 15532 Amritsar-Saharsa Express will be rerouted until August 5.
5. Train number 15211 Darbhanga-Amritsar Jannayak Express will be rerouted until August 4.
6. Train number 14009/14010 Banmankhi-Anand Vihar Express will be rerouted until August 4.
7. Train number 15529 Saharsa-Anand Vihar Express will be rerouted until July 31.
8. Train number 15530 Anand Vihar-Saharsa Express will be rerouted until August 1.
9. Train number 15621 Kamakhya-Anand Vihar Express will be rerouted until August 1.
