Motorola to soon launch world’s slimmest military grade smartphone in India: All details

Motorola is all set to launch the world’s slimmest military-grade certified smartphone in India. The Lenovo-owned smartphone maker has started teasing the smartphone launch on X (formerly known as Twitter). The company posted a small teaser video on the platform with a caption, “Do You Dare to Be Bold”.

Motorola has confirmed that the upcoming smartphone will come with MIL-810 certification. This means that it will be able to withstand accidental drops, shakes, extreme cold, humidity and heat. The company has also revealed that the smartphone will be available online on Flipkart.

Multiple online reports suggest that its slimmest smartphone of the company is tipped to be Motorola Edge 50 Neo. The upcoming Motorola smartphone is said to come with IP68 rating which will make it resistant to dust and water. The smartphone is also said to be 8.1mm thick.

Motorola Edge 50 Neo specificationsAs per online leaks and rumours, Motorola Edge 50 Neo is said to feature a 6.4-inch pOLED display. The smartphone is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset.

Motorola Edge 50 Neo is tipped to house a 50MP main camera and a 13MP secondary shooter. Front is likely to house a 10MP front sensor.

The smartphone is expected to be backed by a 4,310 mAh battery. Motorola Edge 50 Neo is rumoured to run Android 14 operating system topped with Hello UI and offer 256GB internal storage.
