With the launch of this new route, Air India Express now connects Bengaluru to 27 destinations.
Bengaluru: The Air India Express launched direct flights from Bengaluru to Abu Dhabi, making it the first international service from the city. As per the statement from the airline, the international flight service is scheduled from the Kempegowda International Airport (KIA) at 3.25 PM on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The flight will arrive in Abu Dhabi at 6 PM.
The airline added that with the launch of the new flight services, air passengers from cities including Ayodhya, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Goa, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Pune, and Visakhapatnam can now connect to Abu Dhabi through one-stop itineraries via Bengaluru.
Considered as India’s IT capital, Bengaluru now boasts over 200 weekly flights with Air India Express, making it the airline’s largest station.

Apart from this, Air India Express also operates direct flights from Abu Dhabi to other cities such as Kannur, Kochi, Kozhikode, Mangaluru, Mumbai, Thiruvananthapuram, and Tiruchirappalli.
