July 21, Sunday will be observed as Guru Purnima. The day will start at 5.57 a.m. on July 21 and end at 7:09 p.m. on the same day. In contrast, the Purnima Tithi timings are set for July 20 at 6 p.m. and July 21 at 3:47 p.m.

Why do we Celebrate Guru Purnima 2024

Guru Purnima 2024: Rituals
Devotees chant puja to honour the Maha Guru and seek his blessings. Devotional songs and hymns are recited all day. The Maha Guru is also remembered via the recitation of the Guru Gita, a holy scripture. Flowers and gifts are delivered, as well as prasad is received.
