Train services on the Yellow Line of the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) will undergo brief regulations to facilitate civil work on a 490-meter section of the Janakpuri West to R K Ashram Corridor of Phase-IV, according to an advisory issued by DMRC.

Changes to Train Timings

The Yellow Line, which runs between Millennium City Centre in Gurugram and Samaypur Badli in Delhi, will see adjustments during the intervening night of Saturday and Sunday to accommodate the planned construction work. This specific segment involves alignment crossing over the Haiderpur Badli Mor metro station on the Yellow Line.

Last Train Departures and First Train Delays

As per the advisory, the last train on Saturday will depart earlier than usual. From Samaypur Badli to Millennium City Centre Gurugram, the last train will leave at 10:45 PM instead of 11 PM. Meanwhile, the last train from Millennium City Centre Gurugram to Samaypur Badli will depart at 9:30 PM, instead of the usual 11 PM.

On Sunday, the first train service will commence an hour later, starting at 7 AM instead of 6 AM from Samaypur Badli to Millennium City Centre Gurugram. Notably, there will be no train services available between the small section from Samaypur Badli to Jahangirpuri after 11 PM on Saturday and before 7 AM on Sunday.

Normal Service on Major Sections

However, normal train services will continue uninterrupted on the major section of the Yellow Line from Jahangirpuri to Millennium City Centre Gurugram during this period. To minimize inconvenience, announcements will be made at stations and inside trains, informing passengers about the changes in train destinations and respective platforms.

The DMRC emphasized that passenger convenience remains a priority during challenging engineering projects that require crossing over or under operational corridors. Such construction activities are carefully planned to occur during night hours, within a limited timeframe after passenger services end and before they resume the next day.

Passengers are advised to plan their travel accordingly and stay updated with announcements for a smooth transit experience during this period.
