Boat has already launched a smart ring in the market earlier but the new one promises to spice up the segment with the affordability card.
Boat is going to bring a new smart ring product to its lineup in India called the Smart Ring Active this month. This smart wearable is going to launch in India on July 20. According to the company, the Smart Ring Active is expected to be significantly more affordable than the earlier boAt Smart Ring model.

The boAt Smart Ring Active will feature a stainless steel body and will also offer an auto health monitoring system which includes a heart rate checker, Blood Oxygen (SpO2), sleep, body temperature and stress levels via multiple sensors, as pointed out by the brand.
The upcoming device is expected to come with similar features as its predecessor. The current boat Smart Ring model supports short-form video app navigation, audio playback and camera controls. It is claimed to provide up to seven days of battery life, comes with 5ATM Water resistance and can be used to initiate SOS calls. The brand has confirmed that the upcoming device will come in three colour options and five sizes. It will come with a portable magnetic charging case.

BOAT SMART RING ACTIVE EXPECTED LAUNCH PRICE IN INDIA
The boat Smart Ring Active is confirmed to be introduced at a special launch price of Rs 2,999. It will be available for pre-booking from the E-commerce platform Amazon, Flipkart and boAt official website from July 18 onwards.
Notably, the previous boat Smart Ring was launched for Rs 8,999 in three different sizes i.e. 17.40mm, 19.15mm and 20.85mm.

This news comes just a few days after Samsung also introduced its smart wearable, the Galaxy Smart Ring earlier this month at their Galaxy Unpacked Event. It was launched for S300 (Rs 30,000 approx) and the sale for the same will begin on July 24.
The launch details for Samsung Galaxy Ring in India are unknown for the time being. Given the high price, we don’t expect the wearable device to arrive in the nation any time soon.
