There are many videos that capture the unique personality of food vendors. A video documenting a chaat vendor’s heated demeanour left the internet divided.

The video features a food vlogger who questions a chaat vendor in Kolkata. In response to questions about his preparation, the vendor rudely says, “If I don’t make it, then who will? Will it come through a computer?” As the vlogger tries to clarify his question and ask further, the latter maintains the same attitude, asserting that he does all the work.

The video left internet users divided. A user wrote, “It seems scripted.”

Another commented, “Classic case of Ghar ka kalesh taking out on someone else!!!”

One supported the vendor and wrote, “It’s not Kalesh. The shopkeeper is correct. Not everyone is welcoming to vloggers, they work hard in this hot weather and you come up with a camera with irrelevant questions. To defame them, this isn’t good vlogging, the basic rule is to ask first. I am sure he didn’t take permission.”

The food stall, which is a very popular joint in Kolkata, is located in Bara Bazar. The shop is famous for selling tasty deep-friend Club Kachori with potato curry in a leafy bowl.
