How To Port Jio, Airtel, Vi SIM To BSNL?
Open the messages app and type – “PORT (space) [your 10-digit mobile number]”. Send this text to 1900 and wait for the UPC (Unique Porting Code). If you are a Jammu and Kashmir prepaid mobile subscriber, you must call 1900 instead of sending a text message.
This UPC is valid for 15 days or until the number is ported out to another operator. According to BSNL, this is applicable for users except select parts of Jammu and Kashmir, Assam and North East. In these cases, the UPC code is valid for up to 30 days from the requested date or the time until the number is ported out. Also, make sure your previous dues with your existing telcos are clear.

Once you obtain a valid UPC ID, you can visit the nearest BSNL Customer Service Centre (CSC), authorised franchisee or retailer to request porting. You can fill the customer application form and pay the porting fees to start processing your request. However, BSNL noted the company is not charging users any fees to port to BSNL.
Once the process is complete you will get a new BSNL SIM card with a message when the old SIM will be deactivated and the new SIM will be active. At the stated time frame, you can change your SIM card to use the services of BSNL.
