Stocks to Watch Today: Even as the Indian stock market has been rising continuously amid strong sentiments, there are individual stocks that need to be watched closely today, Wednesday, July 10. These include Mahindra & Mahindra, Tata Elxsi, Emcure Pharma, Bansal Wires, Vodafone Idea, Vedanta, Wipro, RVNL and Reliance, among others.

State-owned RVNL has been identified as the lowest bidder for a Rs 202.87 crore project from the South Eastern Railway. The project involves the design, supply, erection, testing, and commissioning of a 132 KV traction substation, sectioning posts, and sub-sectioning posts within a 2x25KV system on the Kharagpur-Bhadrak section of the Kharagpur division.

IT giant Wipro has settled a lawsuit against its former CFO, Jatin Dalal. A US SEC filing dated July 2, 2024, reveals that Cognizant’s board of directors approved a payment of $505,087 to cover the settlement and legal fees associated with the dispute.

The state-owned company has said it will invest about Rs 2 lakh crore to establish renewable energy sites and green hydrogen plants, aiming to achieve its net-zero carbon emission goal by 2038.

Meanwhile, benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty on Tuesday, July 9, rebounded, hitting their fresh record closing levels on the back of gains in auto and FMCG shares and foreign fund inflows.
The 30-share BSE Sensex climbed 391.26 points or 0.49 per cent to settle at a new closing peak of 80,351.64. During the day, it jumped 436.79 points or 0.54 per cent to hit a new lifetime high of 80,397.17.
The NSE Nifty went up by 112.65 points or 0.46 per cent to 24,433.20 — its record closing high. During the day, it surged 123.05 points or 0.50 per cent to hit a new record peak of 24,443.60.
