Canada IRCC Draw Results: Invitations to apply for permanent residence sent to 3200 foreigners

Latest IRCC Draw Results: The Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has extended invitations to foreigners to apply for permanent residency under the French language proficiency of the Express Entry system. Invitations to apply to the Federal Skilled Worker Program, Canadian Experience Class and Federal Skilled Trades Program may be issued through this round of invitations.

The number of invitations issued are 3,200 with CRS score of lowest-ranked candidate invited set at 420. The Date and time of round was July 08, 2024 at 14:01:33 UTC and the Tie-breaking rule was May 30, 2024 at 03:37:43 UTC.

The previous French language proficiency (Version 1) was conducted on April 24, 2024 where invitations to apply were sent to 1,400 foreigners with the CRS score of lowest-ranked candidate set at 400.

To be eligible for Express Entry, you must prove your English or French language ability by taking an approved language test, getting the minimum results required by your program, and including the results when you complete your Express Entry profile. To measure your English or French levels, IRCC use – Canadian Language Benchmarks (CLB) for English and Niveaux de compétence linguistique canadien (NCLC) for French.

Every two weeks, the Canadian government hosts selection events for candidates using the Express Entry system. The Provincial Nominee Program’s most recent selection process was held on July 2, 2024.

On July 5, 2024, the draw for Healthcare occupations (Version 1) were held where invitations to apply were sent to 3,750 with a cut-off score of 445, while on July 4, 2024 the draw for Trade occupations (Version 1) was held where invitations to apply were sent to 1,800 with a cut-off score of 436.

Through the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP), individuals from other nations who wish to relocate to Canada can apply for Canadian Permanent Resident status, allowing them to live, work, and reside in a certain province or territory.
