Tata Curvv EV Teased Ahead of Official Launch, Check Details

The homegrown car manufacturer Tata Motors is soon to introduce its tech-loaded Curvv EV in India. As the launch is just around the corner, the brand has shared an official teaser of the upcoming offering on YouTube.

The short teaser clip did not reveal many details about the model. However, an overall silhouette, rear section, slopping roofline and alloy wheels were visible in the visuals. The teaser also showed what type of material will be used in the Coupe-styled EV.

Design

It is the same EV that was displayed at both AutoExo 2023 and  2024 Bharat Mobility Expo. Going by the official teaser, the upcoming Curvv EV will hit the market with a lot of trending elements. It will feature connected DRLs at the back, a fully LED headlight setup, a shark fin antenna, diamond-cut stylish alloy wheels and decent cladding on the sides.

Interior

The teaser did not reveal anything related to the interior. However, we feel the model will feature the Nexon-inspired illuminated multi-functional steering wheel, minimalistic interior, and will offer a robust 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The unit will support all the wireless car connect technology including Android, Apple and Auto Carplay.

Battery

When it comes to the battery, the EV  might use a 50kWh or more battery setup. It is expected to offer an impressive range between 400kms to 450kms on a single charge. The brand is yet to confirm if the Curvv will be offered in AWD option or not.

On the safety front, the EV is likely to be equipped with multiple airbags, and ADAS with a long list of autonomous features. Apart from this, parking sensors, seat belt-reminder, speed alert, emergency braking, and 360 cameras with dynamic guidelines and lane keep assist features will be there as standard.
