BYD Atto 3 to Get New Entry-Level Variant in India, Check Expected Price Here

The Chinese electric Car manufacturer Build Your Dreams aka BYD is gearing up to add another product to the Indian fleet. The company is all set to introduce an entry-level avatar of Atto 3, which is scheduled to break the cover on July 10.

Ahead of the official, the BYD has already shared a teaser across the social media platforms, giving an idea about the upcoming offering. Most of the details about the model are under wrap as yet. However, some reports claim that the upcoming trim will hit the market with an affordable price tag, featuring a small battery setup with a decent range.

Expected Battery Pack

If rumours are to be believed, the upcoming variant is likely to be powered by a 50kWh battery pack. It will offer a maximum range of between 300km to 400km on a single charge. The ongoing Atto 3 model uses a 60.48kWh battery, which offers an ARAI-certified range of 521km range on full top-up.

Price Bracket

Taking notes from the current Atto 3 model, which retails at Rs 33.99 lakh, the upcoming variant might fall under the price bracket between Rs 26 lakh to 28 lakh (all ex-showroom). To note, this is just a speculation, an official clarification about the same is yet to be shared by the brand.

Design and Road Appearance

The model is expected to share a similar road appearance to Atto 3, featuring an identical headlight setup, a similar roofline, and an improved rear section. It might get the same chrome treatment as the current Atto 3 at both ends.
