Rs 685 Dividend Stock: 3M India Limited shares will remain in focus today on account of ex-date for a whopping Rs 685 dividend. The NIFTY 500 company had earlier announced to reward its investors by paying a special dividend and dividend. As per exchange data, 3M India shares will go ex-date today.
3M India Dividend 2024
The company had earlier announced to pay a special dividend of Rs 525 and a dividend of Rs 160 on each stock to its investors. 3M India had set July 5 as the ex-date and record date.
“The Board recommended a Final Dividend of Rs. 160/- and a Special Dividend of Rs. 525/- per equity share of Rs. 10/- each, for the financial year 2023-24,” the company had said in a regulatory filing dated May 28.

3M India Dividend Record Date 2024
“The Board of Directors have fixed July 5, 2024 (Friday) as the Record Date for determining the entitlement of the shareholders for the payment of aforesaid Dividends,” the filing added.
The dividend is subject to approval of shareholders at the ensuing 37th Annual General Meeting (AGM), scheduled to be held on August 7, 2024. The Final and Special Dividend, if approved shall be paid/dispatched to the shareholders within 30 days from the date of AGM of the Company, as per the statement.

3M India Dividend History
According to exchange data, 3M India had in July 2023 paid a dividend of Rs 100 on each stock to its investors. Back in 2022, the company rewarded its investors by paying a huge dividend of Rs 850 on each stock.

As per analytics, 3M India shares have delivered a positive return of 21 per cent in the last one month. In one year, the counter has rallied 45 per cent. The scrip has moved northward by a solid 77 per cent.
