Chennai: In a matter of great news for the commuters of Indian Railways, the Southern Railways has decided to run a special Vande Bharat Express between two very popular stations of Southern India, i.e., Chennai and Nagercoil. The special Vande Bharat Express will operate four days a week between Chennai and Nagercoil, thus helping the passengers reach their location on time.

New Chennai-Nagercoil Vande Bharat Express: Route Details
For eight distinct dates this July – the 11th, 12th, 13th, 14th, 18th, 19th, 20th, and 21st, the VB special train (number 06067) will begin its journey from Chennai Egmore. On these Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, it will start at 5 AM in the morning, and it will arrive at its final destination, Nagercoil, by 1:50 in the afternoon, as per a report by OneIndia.
Nagercoil – Chennai Vande Bharat Express
The special Vande Bharat train, numbered 06068, journeying from Nagercoil to Chennai is set to depart from Nagercoil at 2:20 in the afternoon on the designated dates, and it’s expected to reach Chennai Egmore by the night, precisely by 11:00 PM.

Madurai-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express: Route Details
In its the return journey, the Madurai-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express train will leave from the Bengaluru railway station at 1:45 PM, arrive at Salem Station at 5:00 PM, Trichy at 8:20 PM, before finaly reaching the Madurai Junction at 10:25 PM.
Madurai-Bengaluru Vande Bharat Express: Coach Details
The Vande Bharat train, which routinely travels from Madurai to Bengaluru during daylight hours, was originally set to contain eight separate coaches. Consistent with usual Vande Bharat train layouts, the journey initiates with a pair of coaches designated for both Executive Class and Chair Class. However, extra coaches are anticipated to be added in case of increasing demands.
