Maruti Suzuki initially unveiled the limited-edition versions of its three Arena models, Alto K10 VXi+, S-Presso VXi, and Celerio LXi with availability for June only.

The extension comes after the carmaker registered a jump in footfall at its dealership following the launch of this limited edition of the cars. According to Maruti Suzuki, the Dream Series lineup has received around 21,000 bookings, even as the entry-level category registered a slip.

The brand said that footfall at its dealerships has climbed by 17 per cent since the launch of the Dream Series line-up.

“The response to the Dream Series has been quite encouraging, and we are going to extend it to July as well. We started [the] Dream Series for June, and it brought about a growth of 17 per cent in footfalls,” said Partho Banerjee, senior executive officer, Marketing and Sales, MSIL as quoted by Autocar India.

“While there was some shrinkage that was happening in this core entry-level segment, we were able to register around 21,000 bookings last month. We are now also trying to work out special finance packages for these customers with various banks,” Banerjee added.

The Dream Series versions of Alto K10 VXi+, S-Presso VXi, and Celerio LXi come loaded with features not offered on the standard models.

According to Maruti Suzuki’s sales report, total sales in June 2024 increased by 12 per cent to more than 1.79 lakh units. Furthermore, the company’s overall domestic passenger vehicle sales last month were roughly 1.37 lakh units, up 3 per cent from the corresponding month of the previous fiscal year.

Maruti Suzuki said that while it is working to meet customer demand on time, there could be a 2-3 week wait time, primarily due to individual colour choices.
