IRCTC Latest Update, Indian Railways News: Good news for devotees! Indian Railways is set to operate Bharat Gaurav Tourist train for the upcoming ‘Dakshin Bharat Yatra.’ This rail tour package will cover multiple places across South India. The 12-night and 13-day journey will commence on July 13, 2024, from Gorakhpur railway station. The tour will conclude on July 25, 2024.
The boarding and de-boarding facilities are available at several railway stations including Gorakhpur, Kaptanganj, Thawe, Siwan, Chhapra, Banaras, Prayagraj, Rae Bareli, Lucknow, Kanpur, Orai, Jhansi, Lalitpur and Bina. During the tour, the passengers will be able to visit various places in Rameshwaram, Madurai, Kanyakumari, and Tirupati.

- Tirupati: Tirupati Balaji Temple, Padmavati Temple, Shree Kaal Hasti Temple
- Rameshwaram: Rameshwaram Temple, Dhanushkodi, Vibhishan Temple, Kalaam Memorial (House), Ramnath Swami Temple.
- Kundal Nagar: Meenakashi Temple
- Kanyakumari: Local Sightseen
- Markapur Road: Mallikarjuna Jyotirlinga Temple
IRCTC Dakshin Bharat Yatra: Train Seat availability
The Bharat Gaurav Tourist train will have three categories of accommodation. These are Sleeper Class, 3AC, and 2AC. A total of 767 passengers will be accommodated i.e. 648 passengers can travel in Sleeper Class, 70 in 3AC, and 49 in 2AC.

IRCTC Dakshin Bharat Yatra: Ticket fare
The price of this rail tour package starts at Rs 24,450 per passenger for Sleeper Class. The fare for 3AC is Rs 40,850 per passenger while fares in 2AC are Rs 54,200 per passenger. This rail tour package includes all travel facilities such as meals, travel insurance, the presence of tour managers, accommodation facilities, and Security on the train. Indian Railways is providing approximately 33 percent concession for the promotion of rail tourism under the Bharat Gaurav Train scheme.
