Diljit Dosanjh and Neeru Bajwa’s rom-com ‘Jatt and Juliet 3’ debuted in theaters on June 27 along with Nag Ashwin’s magnum opus ‘Kalki 2898 AD.’
The Jagdeep Sidhu-directed film ‘Jatt & Juliet 3,’ starring Diljit Dosanjh and Neeru Bajwa, has maintained an astonishing rising trajectory, becoming the second-biggest Punjabi opening in India. Jatt & Juliet 3, starring actor Diljit Dosanjh and Neeru Bajwa, marked its theatrical release on June 27 alongside Prabhas and Deepika Padukone’s ‘Kalki 2898 AD.’ The movie is holding up well at the ticket counters, despite Kalki’s box office storm. The Punjabi drama made Rs 16.75 crore in its first four days of sales.
Jatt & Juliet 3 vs Kalki 2898 AD Box Office Analysis
Jatt & Juliet 3 earned Rs 5.50 crore on Sunday, thanks to strong box office attendance. In Punjab, the movie had 67.28 percent occupancy, with notable contributions from many cities. With its opening day gross of Rs 3.5 crore on Thursday, it became the second-biggest debut in Punjabi film history, after Gippy Grewal’s ‘Carry on Jatta 3‘, which debuted in 2023 and took in Rs 4.55 crore.
Jatt & Juliet 3 saw an overall Punjabi occupancy rate of 67.28 percent on Sunday, with nighttime performances seeing the highest percentage at 89.82 percent. The rom-com debuted with a 57.50 percent occupancy rate on 392 screens in the NCR area and a 73 percent occupancy rate on 180 screens in Chandigarh. There was 77 per cent screen occupancy in Ludhiana out of 110.
