PM Kisan 17th installment: The release of the PM Kisan Nidhi program’s 17th payment has been approved by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The 17th installment of the PM Kisan benefit, worth around Rs 20,000 crore, has been approved by the Prime Minister and will be distributed to 9.3 crore farmers. What is PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme?

- Go to PM Kisan’s official website.
- Go to the Page of Beneficiary Status.
- Select “Beneficiary Status” by clicking.
- Type in your Account Number or Aadhaar Number.
- Select “Get Data” to see the beneficiary status.
- Verify the status of your payment.
Your beneficiary status will be shown on the screen when the system processes your request and verifies your information in the PM Kisan database.

Why eKYC is important?
According to PMKISAN Portal “eKYC is MANDATORY for PMKISAN Registered Farmers,” the website states. For biometric-based eKYC, get in touch with the closest CSC centres. OTP-based eKYC is available via the PMKISAN Portal.”
What is mode of eKYC?
Farmers participating in the PMKISAN programme can choose from the following three eKYC modes:
- Available on the PM-KISAN Portal and Mobile App, OTP-Based e-KYC.
- biometric-based e-KYC (offered by State Seva Kendras (SSKs) and Common Service Centres (CSCs).
