According to the Reserve Bank of India’s holiday calendar 2024, branches of most commercial banks including public & private banks will remain shut on June 17 on the account of Bakra Eid. Banks will not be operational on 15th June in few states for a holiday over Raja Sankranti Or YMA day. Check list of states & cities along with Bank Holiday dates over here.

List Of Cities Where Banks Are Closed On June 17
Banks will remain closed in Agartala, Ahmedabad, Belapur, Bengaluru, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Dehradun, Guwahati, Hyderabad – Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad – Telangana, Imphal, Jaipur, Jammu, Kanpur, Kochi, Kohima, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi, Panaji, Patna, Raipur, Ranchi, Shillong, Shimla, Srinagar and Thiruvananthapuram.
Long Weekend For Banks In June 2024
Banks in Jammu and Srinagar will observe bank holiday on June 16 (Sunday), June 17 and June 18 (Bakrid). So for the Jammu and Srinagar state it can be a three-day bank closure. On June 15, Banks will be closed in Mizoram for YMA Day and banks in Odisha will be closed for Raja Sankranti. However banks in other states will remain operational on 15th June as it is a 3rd Saturday and also on 18th June 2024 as a regular day.

Net Banking, Mobile Banking & ATMs On
Though banks are closed these days, still online banking transactions can be done through mobile or net banking. Customers can still use the Internet, mobile applications, and ATMs. ATMs will continue to operate on the second and fourth Saturdays even if banks are closed.
