Viral video captures a couple’s PDA in the sleeper coach of an Indian train, internet reacts.
If couples’ PDA acts on the Delhi Metro weren’t enough, the phenomenon has now infiltrated Indian Railways as well. A recent video circulating online shows a couple caught cuddling openly on a train, much to the discomfort of fellow passengers, including children. The woman who recorded the scene shared the clip on social media, sparking widespread discussion.

In the now-viral footage, the couple can be seen snuggling on a seat in the sleeper coach. Despite a brief conversation with a ticket checker, they resumed their public display of affection, unfazed by the presence of other passengers. This prompted the original poster to liken the situation to a scene from an OYO room.

The clip quickly gained traction online, prompting a wave of comments. “I understand on the Delhi Metro, but why on a regular train?” one user queried. Another expressed concern, asking, “Dear railway minister, Is it safe travelling in Indian mail/ express trains for females teenage girls, and others? by looking at this video?”
However, not everyone was in agreement with the OP’s actions. Many criticised her for filming the couple without their consent. “Why would you do that? Did you take their permission before shooting the video,” asked one user. Another pointed out the legal implications, stating, “First of all what if they are husband and wife? and second thing who gave you permission to record them? don’t you know its is crime to record private video of someone without there knowledge or consent. It falls under sec 354(c) of IPC which define Voyeurism. The punishment for this offence is provided under Section 354 (C) of the Indian Penal Code.”
Meanwhile, this isn’t the first time such PDA acts have been caught in public transport. Previously, a flyer from New York shared his uncomfortable experience of enduring a couple’s PDA for the entire duration of a four-hour flight. Posting on ‘X’, user @babyibeenajoint shared pictures of the couple cuddling and snuggling throughout the flight. “Can’t believe my view on the plane. It was like this the whole 4-hour flight,” he lamented, with one snapshot capturing the couple making a heart shape with their fingers as they cozied up.
