Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has released a statement stating that Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal has filed a petition in the apex court, seeking an extension of his interim bail by seven days. The reason given for the same is that he needs to undergo a few medical tests.

Arvind Kejriwal Interim Bail Extension: The Chief Minister of Delhi, Arvind Kejriwal is currently on interim bail in the Delhi Excise Policy Case; the Delhi CM was arrested in the end of March by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and spent over 50 days in Tihar Jail. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Supremo was granted interim bail by Supreme Court of India till June 1, 2024 and he is expected to surrender to the authorities on June 2, 2024. In a latest update, the Chief Minister of Delhi has filed a petition in the Supreme Court, seeking an extension of his interim bail, for a period of one week, i.e. seven days; the same has been communicated by the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP).
