Mumbai Train Block: The Central Railway‘s Mumbai Division has announced a series of special track maintenance blocks at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT), causing disruptions to several train services in the coming days. The blocks, carried out from midnight of May 22 to May 30, are necessary for pre Non-interlocking (NI) works related to the extension of platforms 10 and 11 at CSMT, aimed at accommodating 24-coach trains at the station.

During the maintenance blocks, the up slow line, up and down fast lines between Byculla (excluding Byculla) and CSMT (including CSMT platforms 10 to 18, CSMT Yard, trip shed, 7 line and CSMT Shunting neck) will be affected as per the Pune Times Mirror report.
The blocks will be in effect from 12:30 am to 4:30 am, a block of four hour each day, causing disruptions to mail and express train services.

Mumbai Train Cancelled
As a result, several trains will be cancelled, including the 12125 CSMT-Pune Pragati Express from 28 to 31May and the 12126 Pune-CSMT Pragati Express from 28 to 31 May. Additionally, the 12128 Pune-CSMT Intercity Express will be cancelled on 31 May.
Mumbai Train: Short Terminated
Furthermore, some trains will be short-terminated at Dadar station, such as the 11020 Bhubaneswar-Mumbai Konark Express from 21 to 29 May, the 12702 Hyderabad-CSMT Hussain Sagar Express from 22 to 30 May, and the 11140 Hosapete Jn-CSMT Express from 22 to 30 May. The 22157 CSMT-Chennai Superfast Mail will also be short-originated from Dadar station from 22 to 30 May.
